The number of students who enroll in online college courses has risen by 800% in the last 9 years. Not surprisingly, enrollment in online degree programs increased by more than one million students in 2010 - and that number is expected to continue rising - bachelor's degree at community college.

Online education, sometimes referred to as distance learning, offers an opportunity for nontraditional students - such as having to raise children or work full-time work - to continue their education at a time convenient and flexible in general.
